Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp

Set in it's own private concession and sprawled along the Saparingo River on the edge of the Oloololo escarpment, where woodland meets the sweeping plains in the seasonal path of the awe-inspiring Great Migration, this stunning camp provides an authentic dose of African wildlife and fantastic hospitality.

With interiors that are simple yet sophisticated and stylish, the Camp enhances guests’ sense of privacy and enjoyment. 12 Classic tents, 20 Superior tents and eight Superior View tents, are laid out in immaculate grounds, with leisurely groups of warthog feeding right outside the tent doors. Maasai-inspired interiors complete the classic East African feel to this camp.

The generously sized lodge swimming pool is set among the trees and surrounded by lush lawns and breathtaking views and the split- level dining area has been designed around an interactive kitchen and vegetable garden, making food an integral part of the safari experience.

This area of the Mara is right in the path of the Wildebeest migration, and is thus also the home of a number of large predators - including Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs and Hyaenas. It is also an area where a vast array of activities can be done - from Hot Air Balloon Safaris to Night Game Drives.
