Thorntree River Lodge offers a tranquil base from which to explore the plethora of awe-inspiring activities available in and around Livingstone, all of which are within easy access of the lodge.  Showcasing incredible river panoramas from its secluded riverside setting, the shared areas are hubs of relaxation; the lounge flows seamlessly into the dining area, and the library hosts WIFI connectivity. The communal deck is set under a glade of trees and is home to a sunken boma area and an infinity pool. There is also a gym and spa which promote a sense of holistic well being at Thorntree River Lodge. Elephants are regularly sighted as they forage on the banks of the River as are Buffalo and Hippo and there is also a small population of White Rhino found near to the lodge.

Thorntree offers daily excursions to the Zambia side (and Zimbabwean side – in the dry season) side of The Victoria Falls, private river cruises in motorboats, cultural visits, fishing expeditions, canoeing, rhino tracking and game drives - all of which area included in your stay. Additionally, external activities such as bungee jumping, white-water rafting and helicopter trips over the Falls can be booked on your behalf.
