Lion Sand’s natural animal population includes the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino), and the reserve is especially renowned for the quality of its leopard viewing – the most elusive of predators. With exclusive traversing rights on both Lion Sands’ Sabi Sand and Kruger Park sections, guests are assured a truly intimate safari experience.
Activities include exploring and witnessing the local wildlife via Game Drives in the morning and afternoon and walking safaris with an experienced guide. Other optional activities that can be booked in advance include scenic Helicopter flights and Golf at the nearby famous Skukuza Golf Club. Lion Sands also has some remote treehouses in which guests can sleep out in overnight to given an extra-special wilderness feeling to your trip.
