This incredible archipelago is a territory of Norway and is located deep into the Arctic Circle. From jaw-dropping coastlines, rugged mountains, impressive glaciers and an abundance of wildlife, Svalbard offers a truly Arctic experience and adventure. Svalbard is well-known for being home the world’s largest population of the Arctic’s apex predator – the Polar Bear. Indeed, over 3000 of these magnificent creatures inhabit Svalbard and its surrounds. However, it is not only the Polar Bear that Svalbard plays host to. In the small summer window, thousands of migratory seabirds come to breed on its impressive cliffs and glaciers and the crystal-clear waters are filled with marine life – from Beluga Whales to Walruses.
