&Beyond Benguerra Island

Situated off the coast of Mozambique within the protected marine reserve of the Bazaruto Archipelago National Park, this island hideaway is set on a sheltered lagoon. In terms of activities, there are so many on offer at this unique island resort. Disappear by catamaran for a Castaway Picnic to your chosen point to the north or south of the island and be left you there for a blissful time of total seclusion. Take a sunset cruise around the bay in a dhow, a traditional wooden sailing vessel with a triangular sail, used by the island’s locals or are use of the on-site, fully-equipped Dive Centre. If Scuba diving is not up your alley, then explore the exhilarating nearby coral reefs by snorkelling. For the fishing aficionados, this area of Mozambique offers some of the best deep-sea fishing in Southern Africa.
