Dr James Bloor-Griffiths - Director
Someone with a passion for all things Africa, James is always striving to document the beauty of this magnificent continent. With his father being an ornithologist, it was not long before James developed a unique passion for the natural world and in particular, wildlife photography. Qualifying as a guide in Botswana as a teenager, James went on to work in two of the most prestigious safari camps in the Okavango Delta - something which has given him a unique insight into the wildlife tourism industry. In his other life, James is a medical doctor – working both in the UK in the NHS and also as an Expedition and Wilderness Doctor in Africa and Central America. James is committed to share with others the natural beauty and wildlife of this planet and help others experience the remote areas he has grown up exploring.
We are Galago Travel, a small, family-run company specialising in bespoke, worldwide wildlife adventures and African safaris.
