Offbeat Mara is a small, traditional Safari camp located in a secluded part of the Mara North Conservancy - a private concession within the Mara eco-system which offers privacy and exclusivity in terms of location and game-viewing.

Offbeat Mara undoubtedly boasts some of the best wildlife viewing in East Africa. A local pride of lion are always within a short distance from the camp and can regularly be heard roaring. This, combined with regular sightings of Cheetah and Leopard as well as a host of other animals, there is little need to go elsewhere.

Offbeat Mara maintains its private homely feel by consisting of only seven tents.  There are five doubles/twins and two family tents.  The heart of the camp is the main 'mess' tent with its bar, dining area, sitting room, fireplace and forest deck.  WiFi is available in the main mess area, and there is a central charging facility for cameras, phones and so forth. All the accommodation tents are en suite with flush toilets and traditional hot safari showers. Each tent has its own veranda and is carefully positioned to offer wonderful views of the surrounds in complete privacy.
