The camp at Duba Plains offers five bespoke suites, with the design ensuring that it blends into the landscape whilst evoking the classic African safari style of the 1920s. All the rooms are on raised, recycled railway sleeper decking. Each suite affords guests stunning views of the surrounding floodplain and the steady stream of wildlife parading past. Known for its elegant tented accommodation, Nxabega lies in the heart of the Okavango and boasts breathtaking views over the seasonally flooded grasslands. This stunning camp offers the priceless opportunity to discover the wildlife wonders of the delta from both land and water.

Nine tented suites set on raised wooden platforms feature a luxurious bed, an extended private veranda complete with a shaded sitting area, hanging daybed, and glorious Delta outlooks. The open-designed ensuite bathroom has both an indoor and screened outdoor rain-shower, with a flush toilet enclosed by stylish canvas panels.

An expansive indoor and outdoor sitting and dining areas include a range of amenities: an interactive food and coffee bar, an extensive pool area with loungers and shaded salas; a dedicated massage sala and a spectacular open-air boma, set under the dappled shade of the camp’s massive ebony trees.

In terms of the wildlife, the area around Nxabega a high reputation for game sightings. Lion, Leopard and even the rare and endangered African Wild Dog are found in very healthy numbers and are regularly sighted. The area also holds good numbers of Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo and Zebra.

There are a huge range of activities available at Nxabega - from exploring the surrounding islands by Land Cruiser to taking a peaceful mokoro (local canoe trip) across the seasonally flooded grassland (seasonal). Other exciting activities include motorboat safaris which take you into the heart of the delta through its narrow channels and open lagoons. Lying in the south-eastern edge of the Okavango, Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is situated in a diverse, wildlife-rich, private concession bordering the famed Moremi Game Reserve. The inspired organic design of this stunning lodge blends into the surrounding forest canopy of wild palms and fig trees. A copper-toned and glassless guest area overlooks a vast floodplain and one of the many meandering channels found in the Delta. An upstairs bar and lounge extend also along an elevated walkway to a viewing platform.

Interior finishes throughout showcase Botswana craftsmanship and feature intricate basketware, sculpted wooden tables and unique feature pieces. While the main guest area is set within the gladed riverine woodland, the twelve guest suites peep out from beneath its canopy.
